Hey, I’m Lilli-Mae W, founder of ByLils.

From as young as 10, I knew I wanted to be my own boss. I didn’t know what that would look like at the time, but by 12 I had my first acrylic kit, practising whenever I could, watching tutorials and teaching myself new skills. Like many childhood passions, I stepped away from it for a while.

At 14, I picked the nail brush back up and began doing my own nails at every opportunity. By 16, I was still creating sets while studying for my GCSEs, with dreams of becoming an architect or interior designer. But I knew university wasn’t the right path for me, so I chose another route, one that was already growing within me.

After passing my GCSEs, I enrolled in a nail course, earned my qualifications and, for my 18th birthday, launched my own cuticle oil, a product designed to keep your nails intact, healthy and long-lasting.

What started as a childhood hobby has now evolved into something I genuinely love.
